Rough Procedure for using the Center
There are three ways as below.
1. When you use the compound library of Tokyo University Drug Discovery Initiative (Todai) at the Drug Discovery (Center)
To apply compound to Todai (E-mail)
There are two cases when you apply through Center or do individually. Please contact Center directly first.
To affirm appropriate ways of the screening and compound set at the meeting with Todai. (Todai encounter or TV meeting)
TV meeting system is located at the meeting room on the 2nd floor of Drug Discovery Center Building. It is accessible for everyone for free of charge.
To mail and manage the compound application.(printed matter)(Center or individually)
To apply for Center Use Application form for Center use (PDF)
To start actual screening experiment
To hand in debrief report or progress report within 3 months or 6 months after the experiment.
2. When you use database of Todai compound library.
To apply for the database use to Todai(E-mail)
There are two cases when you apply through Center or do individually. Please contact Center directly first.

To apply for Center Use Application form for Center use (PDF)
To receive CD
To start In silico screening
To hand in debrief report or progress report within 6 months after the experiment.
3. When you use only screening devices or the laboratories
When you don’t use Todai compound library → To apply to Center only. Application form for Center use (PDF)
Charge
When you use screening devices in Center, you don't have to pay anything. About the compound library which you use in Center, you are supposed to use them in accordance with the contract with Todai.
Basically, you have to pay actual cost or bring in these consumables for the screening by yourselves, except compound library.
Trial system
Our center has trial system below for the purpose of the vitalization of screening researches.
Please mail us to consult when you try to apply the system.
Outline of screening research trial system
·To aid a part of consumables needed to assay establishment according to the decision of Center.
·Users are to pay some expenses for real screening.
·When target or assay are different from previous ones, you can apply each time.
·The users for profit-making business isn’t basically applicable.
You can find similar systems in each core center of the screening of support technique basic platform control field such as drug discovery.
